The IICRC-approved Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) course provides skills for performing remediation work, an understanding of water damage and its effects, and techniques for drying structures. This course gives restoration personnel the background to understand procedures for dealing with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mould. This course will enable the participant to obtain IICRC WRT certification, which is a prerequisite for other IICRC courses like the AMRT.
This onsite in-person WRT course will be held over a 3-day period from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm each day. The finishing times will vary each day.
Participants earn 14 IICRC Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for attending this course.
Lunch and Morning Tea will be provided.
To receive your certification, you must pass an IICRC examination. If you intend to complete the exam, you must complete a separate exam registration process, which will be provided after registering for the course. Exams for onsite in-person courses are generally held in the classroom after lunch on the final day of the course. Exams for online livestream courses have different arrangements.
Course registration do NOT include IICRC exam fees. Exam fees are paid directly to the IICRC separately. The IICRC exam fee for this course is currently $80 USD, but you can check the IICRC website to ensure that fee is correct.
